Westburn Park

Autumn paints Westburn Park in handsome hues of gold and orange, a portrait of peace. The estate was purchased by the local council in 1900 and opened to the public as a park in 1901.

Gilcomston Burn flows through the park, laid out like a mini canal with a series of small Amsterdam style bridges.

The mini road feature adds unusual character and is excellent for learning to ride a bike in a safe space.

A coffee kiosk allows you to enjoy a refreshment in the park.

A blue truck with white and cream signs stating The Coffee Box and Strength in Every Cup, and also a black sign with more information on drinks and treats

Benches from Aberdeen’s 2025 BookBench Trail add understated charm and quiet beauty to the park. See also: Beauty in Benches
