cat parade

Kelly’s Cats adorn Aberdeen’s Union Bridge with feline flair. Designed by Sir William Kelly in 1905, the south balustrade cats were moved to Duthie Park in 1964 after the bridge was widened to accommodate shops. The Cat Parade featured here is a selection of artwork from 2016, a charity venture launched by the Bon Accord Rotary Club which raised over £30,000 for CLAN, Unicef and Aberdeen Streetsport. The Kelly’s Cats below are owned privately and were on display at Duthie Park on Sunday 18 May 2025.
