An oasis of captivating charm within Ellon town centre, Ellon Castle Gardens is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.

Maintained with labour and love by a small volunteer team,  the gardens reached their current size in the 18th century. The ruined castle dates from the 15th century. Learn more about the history of the gardens here: www.elloncastlegardens.net/history/

The garden is home to enchanting 500 year old yew trees.

Wander the garden, seeing its sonnets of symmetry, breathing its poem of pastel perfection and hearing its stanzas of serenity.

Marvel at haikus of floral heaven.
